The “Flavours of Sri Lanka” Food Week was officially inaugurated on 12 April 2026 at MYNT Restaurant, Vivanta Kathmandu. The event was organised in collaboration with the Embassy of Sri Lanka.
Heads of Diplomatic Missions based in Kathmandu and members of the business community attended the opening dinner. The Food Week features authentic Sri Lankan cuisine prepared by Chef Prashantha Gunasekara from Taj Samudra, Colombo, offering a glimpse into Sri Lanka’s rich culinary heritage.
The event will continue until 18 April 2026, celebrating the vibrant flavours and traditions of Sri Lankan gastronomy.
