Ambassador Ruwanthi Delpitiya attended the 36th Commemoration Ceremony of the Most Venerable Dr. Amritananda Maha Thero at Anandakuti Vihar in Kathmandu.
This event honoured the noble life and enduring contributions of the Most Venerable Maha Thero, a life wholly dedicated to propagating the Lord Buddha's teachings and revitalizing Theravāda Buddhism in Nepal. The Maha Thero’s ordination and advanced studies in Sri Lanka laid the foundation for his lifelong spiritual work, forging a profound and lasting bond between the two nations.
